NOTIFICATION LIST
My apologies again for the delay in getting the notification list out. I know it made your jobs
more difficult and I appreciate your patience with this process!
| Distributed Wednesday afternoons: | August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 September 5, 12, 19, 26 |
VOUCHER PROCESSING
First 0708 Voucher: Friday, August 17
Vouchers are processed on Tuesdays and Fridays for files uploaded by noon.
AES LIST Please look for the schedule online at: http://www.heab.wi.gov/finaid.html
Wednesday afternoon: August 15 and 29
NEW TECH DISBURSEMENT CODE The Tech-WHEG disbursement code has changed! The new disbursement code for
Tech-WHEG is 15 (the old one is 10). In our new system, we were able to give Tech-WHEG
(which has been a separate allocation from UW-WHEG for years) its own code. This will
primarily affect vouchering and refunds. Please make any necessary changes to comply with this
change.
THIS CHANGE AFFECTS THE TECHNICAL COLLEGES ONLY
NO VOUCHERING PENNIES
HEAB no longer accepts vouchering for cents (pennies, less than a dollar, coins, silver, etc.) If
your grant is an odd dollar amount you should round up in the first semester and round down in the
second. (If you are rounding Down-then UP it would be great if you could get that switched for
2008-09 - thanks!)
NEW DELIMITED FILES IN THE WORKS We will be testing and working with you on these lists in September.
ALL FILES YOU CURRENTLY RECEIVE WILL BE PRODUCED THROUGHOUT THE COMPLETE 2007-08 YEAR!!
Our new system provides much more information than our old system. We will be writing new
notification lists that have one line per student and give more complete and accurate information.
REPORT FILE TO BE ELIMINATED IN 2008-09 - A YEAR FROM NOW
We will no longer produce and distribute the report file (RPT###...) once 2007-08 processing is
complete (a year from July). The delimited notification file contains more complete and accurate
information, and this list can be configured by your offices to display whatever you feel is
necessary.
